Walk the India–Nepal border along the Singalila ridge with Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga lined up on the horizon — the 'Sleeping Buddha'.

NJP → Manebhanjan
Drive up through Darjeeling tea estates to the ridge-top town of Manebhanjan.

Manebhanjan → Tumling
Climb into Singalila National Park to the Nepali hamlet of Tumling.

Tumling → Kalipokhri
Rolling ridge walk through bamboo and fir to the 'black lake'.

Kalipokhri → Sandakphu
Steep final climb to Sandakphu (11,930 ft) for sunset on the Sleeping Buddha.

Sandakphu → Sabargram → Phalut → Gorkhey
Sunrise over Everest, then the high ridge to Phalut and descent to Gorkhey.

Gorkhey → Srikhola → NJP
Walk to Srikhola and drive back to NJP.
